Loup of Fintry or Kendrick Falls
Photos of the Loup of Fintry or Kendrick Falls - on the River Kendrick in Stirlingshire. These photos were taken in early spring 2017.
Scotland had just experienced its' driest winter in 20 years and so not much water was in the falls.
The river takes and immediate turn at the waterfall, and runs through a fairly steep sided valley.
A closer view of the River Kendrick and its' valley downstream of the Falls.
The River Carron runs in the opposite direction out of the Carron Valley. It is photographed above in a very slow section of river near the Forestry Commission Car Park.
